ox_target — MrPoulpi Labs edition
What the MrPoulpi Labs edition of ox_target adds, the features verified in the 1.17.2 archive, and quick links to installation and the configurator.
This edition takes Overextended’s ox_target resource and extends it with a protected engine driven entirely by plain files. You configure menus, integrations and permissions without ever touching encrypted code. The version declared by the archive documented here is 1.17.2 (version field of fxmanifest.lua).
- Installation Dependencies, exact folder name, start order and first test.
- Quick start A working menu, then your first interaction in a few minutes.
- Configurator Set everything in the browser and export ready-to-copy Lua files.
- Configuration reference Every config.lua setting with type, default, unit and effect.
What this edition adds
Compared with the original ox_target, the archive adds:
- Nested menus: categories open submenus shown next to the main menu.
- Self-target: you can target your own character (
SelfInteractionslist). - Personal and shared emotes, copying another player’s emote, emote shortcuts.
- Identifiers: show or copy a player’s server ID, show yours.
- Billing, Rock Paper Scissors with a dedicated interface and a per-player remembered anti-punch protection.
- Medical: revive and heal on a player or yourself, depending on permission.
- Staff actions: force an emote or a /me on a player.
- Vehicles: original doors, hood and trunk options, tyre slashing with a blade, hiding in the trunk, lockpicking, repair and key handover.
- Developer tools: coordinates, model and prop names, plate, prop scan, entity deletion and appearance.
- Weather and time: weather types, zones, time presets, blackout and local tools.
- Secured server actions: your own actions, checked by the engine before your code is called.
All these features are set in config.lua, config_interactions.lua, config_client.lua and config_server.lua. Adapters to external scripts live in bridge/client.lua and bridge/server.lua.
How it is organised
The menu players see is generated at start from config_interactions.lua. When an option needs a check, the client sends a request to the server; the protected engine checks anti-spam, feature, permission, job, arguments, target, distance and item, then calls the bridge. The bridge applies your hook when there is one, otherwise the preset chosen in config.lua.
The file-by-file breakdown is in Public architecture.
Announced compatibility and reality
The bridge contains adapters for ESX, QBCore, Qbox, ox_core, ND, rpemotes and rpemotes-reborn, esx_ambulancejob, qb-ambulancejob, ox_inventory, dNotif, av_weather, qs-vehiclekeys, esx_billing, jg-mechanic and illenium-appearance. An adapter being present does not guarantee compatibility with every version of these resources: it calls specific events and exports, listed in Integrations. Check them against your version before going live.
